Norsaac believes that the maintenance of peace and stable communities starts with everyone. We see this happening through; Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Resilience Conflict Mitigation

STRIVE-Ghana

STRIVE Ghana, funded by GCERF, will cover thirty-six (36)  months and inherently seeks to prevent and address the root causes of localised and spillover conflicts and vulnerabilities to violent extremism and would specifically empower local governance institutions, actors and customary governance structures to ensure more inclusive, responsive and accountable governance, economic development and quality service delivery, as a peace dividend in the selected regions.

Nine border districts across Upper East, Upper West, and North East Regions, including Kassena Nankana West, Tempane, Builsa South, Talensi, Bolgatanga Municipal, Daffiama Bussie Issa, Nadowli Kaleo, Nabdam, and Mamprugu Moagduri. These areas face high risks due to porous borders, refugee influx, and socio-economic vulnerabilities.

AYWV

The “Amplifying Youth and Women Voices in Ghana Governance Landscape Project” is a 12-month intervention funded by the STAR-Ghana Foundation. In line with Norsaac’s strategy of Movement for Active Citizenship, the project aims to use volunteerism to enhance the agency and participation of youth and women in local governance and decision-making processes in the Sagnarigu Municipality and Tamale Metropolis in the Northern Region. This project will address challenges impeding youth from participating in local governance at the district level. Overall, the project will result in empowered youth, meaningful youth participation in decision-making, and inclusive governance.
